Did you know that we have not only one, but two college instructors on our high school campus? Mrs. Van Huis is an embedded teacher on our campus. Her students will work towards a Patient Care Technician Certification while earning high school and college credit. We also have the pleasure of having Dr. Sanford on our campus this year teaching dual credit Anatomy and Physiology. Thank you to these instructors for all of your hard work in preparing our students for life after high school!

Tonight, at the August board meeting, the board and Dr. McAlpin recognized our August Teacher and Employee of the Month.

Congratulations to Coach Jake Nash on being named the Orangefield High School Head Baseball Coach! Over the past two years, Nash has been an assistant for the back to back district champion Bobcat Baseball. He previously had coaching experience at Lamar University where he worked as Director of Baseball Operations, coached with the Brazos Valley Bombers who won the TCL Championship in 2018, and was an assistant at LCM for 3 years before coming to Orangefield. Nash played college ball at Vernon College and Lamar University where he was named all conference performer. We are excited to have him leading Bobcat Baseball!
