Last night, at the November board meeting, the Orangefield Education Foundation awarded Orangefield ISD a $1200 grant to be used for staff development events for the three campuses.

The Kiwanis Club of Orange donated $500 to Orangefield Elementary to purchase books for students to add to their home libraries. We appreciate their willingness to help OISD students succeed.

This past Saturday, our Bobcat Pride Marching band participated in the UIL Area C Marching Contest At Stephen F. Austin University. They placed 6th in the Preliminary round and earned a spot to perform in Finals. Their Finals performance earned them 6th place again, the alternate from Area C to the State Marching contest.
