Dr. Ronald Risinger, PLACE III

Dr. Ronald Risinger was born in Orange, TX and has lived in the Orangefield community for 40 years. He
is a 1981 Orangefield High School graduate. He attended Lamar University, University of Texas Dental
School at San Antonio, Department of Orthodontics and University of North Carolina Dental School
where he majored in Biochemistry, Dentistry, and Orthodontics.
Dr. Risinger has been an Orthodontist for 30 years and currently practices in the Golden Triangle.
He began his career as a general dentist while serving in the United States Air Force. After 5 years as a
general dentist, Dr. Risinger returned to specialize in orthodontics. He proudly served in the United
States Air Force for 11 years.
Dr. Risinger and his wife, Lynn, have been married for 17 years. They have three children; Dane, Logan,
and Brittney. Dane is a 2014 Orangefield graduate and is currently pursuing his doctorate in
Orthodontics from UT Dental School. Logan is a 2019 Orangefield High School graduate and is currently
attending FGCU. Brittney is a graduate of Lamar University and the proud mother of his two
granddaughters, Kinley and Marlee.
Dr. Risinger is an active board member for the Ed Peveto Memorial Scholarship foundation and a
member of Old First Orange Baptist Church. He is also a member of a southern gospel quartet, southern
gospel trio and a sole gospel singer.
Dr. Risinger enjoys classic cars and spending as much time as he can with his two granddaughters, Kinley
and Marlee.
