MARCUS WERNIG, PLACE IV

Marcus “Marc” was born in Orange, Texas. He has been a resident in the Orangefield community for eighteen plus years. He is a 1988 Orangefield High School graduate.
He graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering. Marc has been involved with the oil and gas drilling industry machinery design since 1995 with three patents. Also, design of accessory drive transmissions for fuel performance improvement for the United States Military vehicles under S.B.I.R., programs since 2016.
Marc has contracted with the government with the following military projects:

Sandia National Laboratories
U.S. Department of Energy
Kirtland Air Force Base, Albuquerque, New Mexico
Marc is the proud father of two beautiful daughters. Mary Catherine Wernig, a 2022 Orangefield High School Graduate and Madeleine Kobe Wernig who anticipates graduating from Orangefield High School in 2024.
He volunteers his time with the Kolbe Prison Ministry and the Knights of Columbus. During his spare time, he enjoys fishing, boating, and UIL Math Coaching.
