LAURA CLARK, PLACE II

Laura was born in Orange, Texas. She has been a resident in the Orangefield community since April, 2009.
She graduated from Lamar University with a Bachelor of Administration in Accounting.
Laura began her career at Edgar, Kiker & Cross CPAs, a public accounting firm. During the ten years there, Laura obtained a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license. She moved on to the City of Beaumont for eleven years where she was the Chief Financial Officer for nine of those years. Laura joined Olson Engineering in December of 2016, where she is the Vice President for Finance and Administration.
Laura and her husband Trey have been married for almost 30 years. Despite being graduates from different schools, Laura from West Orange Stark and Trey from Anahuac, they both believe in the opportunities a small school has to offer. Their oldest son Quade Clark, Orangefield High School Class of 2021, attends Texas A&M in College Station majoring in Landscape Architecture, graduating in May 2025. Hayden Clark, their youngest son, attends Orangefield High School, Class of 2027. He plays football and participates in track and field events.
In addition to the OISD Board, Laura also serves on the Beaumont Fireman’s Retirement & Relief Fund Board. She and her family attend First Baptist Church of Orange.
Her favorite thing to do is travel, especially summer road trips with her family. She also enjoys the outdoors, working in the flowerbeds, painting, craft projects, and reading historical fiction.
